Job Description

Handle and manage full spectrum of procurement functions with day-to-day operation.

  • Manage cross functional teams for supply of materials by vendor/tender negotiations.

  • Negotiate for long term supply contracts.

  • Maintain accurate electronic database of term contract and bulk purchase rates.

  • Handle material sourcing, price negotiation and order fulfilment, includes preparation and execution of purchase requisitions and ensure timely delivery.

  • Establish KPIs to achieve business objectives for assured supply, quality, cost reductions and cost effectiveness.

  • Review and implement of strategies, procedures and best practices in Purchasing/Procurement functions in accordance to purchasing policy and company guidelines.

  • Continuous improvement to source for more competitive/alternate materials and manage supplier performance.

  • Handle supply claims issues with internal customers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.

  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Applicants must be willing to work in 7 Buroh Lane.

  • Preferably Managers specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management, Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.

  • Applicants must be willing to work at 7 Buroh Lane.
