bizSAFE Level 3: managing workplace risks systematically

bizSAFE is a nationally recognised capability-building programme administered by Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health Council. At Level 3, an organisation must have conducted risk assessments for every work activity and process in its workplace in line with the Workplace Safety and Health (Risk Management) Regulations. It must also have the implementation of its risk-management plan assessed by a qualified external auditing organisation.

This is especially meaningful in food and beverage operations. Kitchens, restaurants, bakeries, production spaces and offices each present different risks - from hot surfaces, sharp tools and manual handling to slips, equipment use and emergency readiness. A strong safety culture depends on identifying those risks, putting controls in place, communicating them clearly and reviewing them when work changes.

bizSAFE Level 3 does not mean that risk disappears. It means that Commonwealth Concepts has established a structured and audited approach to managing it. That approach supports safer workplaces for our teams and, in turn, more dependable environments for the guests, suppliers and partners who interact with our operations.
